Do you warranty your work?

Every repair comes with a minimum 90-day warranty on labor. New equipment installations carry the manufacturer's warranty (typically 5-10 years on parts) plus our own 2-year labor warranty. If something we installed or repaired fails within the warranty period, we'll make it right at no charge.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can call us at (555) 234-5678, fill out the contact form on our website, or send us a text at the same number. Our office is staffed Monday through Friday 7 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 2 PM. For after-hours emergencies, our answering service will dispatch a technician.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Summit Home Services is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We carry $2 million in general liability coverage. All plumbers, HVAC technicians, and electricians hold active state licenses and are background-checked. We're happy to provide license numbers and proof of insurance upon request.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes — for larger projects like system replacements, repiping, panel upgrades, or remodeling work, we provide free written estimates. For repair work, the $89-99 service call covers the diagnostic and you'll receive an upfront quote before any work begins.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. For larger projects ($1,000+), we also offer financing through GreenSky with approved credit — 0% interest for 12 months on qualifying purchases. Payment is due upon completion of work.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Springfield and the surrounding communities within 30 miles, including Riverside, Oakdale, Fairview, Cedar Hills, and Lakeview. If you're not sure whether you're in our service area, give us a call and we'll let you know.

How fast can you get here for an emergency?

For true emergencies (burst pipes, no heat in winter, gas leaks, flooding), we aim to have a technician at your door within 60 minutes. For urgent but non-emergency issues, we typically offer same-day service if you call before noon.

How much does a service call cost?

Our standard service call fee is $89 for plumbing and HVAC, $99 for electrical. This covers the trip to your home and a full diagnostic. If you proceed with the repair, the service call fee is applied toward the total cost of the job. After-hours and emergency calls are $149.
